A GUI front-end for VTLS Library System - English beta

Some fellow OS/2-users may be familiar with the library system developed and
sold by USA-located VTLS Inc. I suppose that the English name of the library
system is "VTLS Library System".
Personally I dislike the interface of VTLS, and hence I have written a GUI
front-end for that system. I call that front-end VTLS Interface. That
front-end is now and will be FREEWARE, but not public domain.
VTLS Interface is a PM application and uses Rexx-scripts heavily. Due to Rexx
it is easily modifiable and extendible. And now it has entered the state of a
"very early beta".
Unfortunately all the documentation and all screen-texts are currently in
Finnish. If there is enough interest, I might be tempted to make an
"English-speaking" version.
If you are interested in a GUI front-end for VTLS Library System, please send
me an email about it. If I get enough messages, then I'll start a low-priority
translation project. I cannot, however, promise any exact dates. You could
expect first English versions early 1997. Of course I would be *very* happy if
someone else could do the translation at least for the manual, but I do not
think that likely. :-)
In other words, if you use OS/2 and VTLS and would like to get a front-end,
please send me a message. When I have an English version, then I'll send you a
message about it existing.
