---------------------------------------------------------------------
Version 1.00 of ProgramControl (PGMCNTRL) is now available.
PGMCNTRL is a small vio utility that allows you to perform actions like
kill and query and window functions like minimize, maximize, restore and hide
on _every_ process in the system. You can identify the process by
- the pid (decimal and hex (format example : 0x0E)
- the tasklist entry ( let PGMCNTRL determine the tasklist entry)
- the simple or the fully qualified Exe-Name
- MYPROG.EXE or D:\UTIL\MYPROG.EXE
You can download PGMCNTRL via FTP from hobbes.nmsu.edu. Look for:
/incoming/pgmcn100.zip (currently)
or /os2/textutil/pgmcn100.zip (when properly checked-in to archive)
Sorry, no INF file available, but a brief online help should give you all
information you might need.
A to do for next version(s) is repositioning windows and bring them to
fore-/background.
