There is a new release of Newsbeat for OS/2 beta 0.99b2.
It corrects a problem in 0.99b1 where connecting to a server
caused SYS3175. It also corrects some other errors.
The revised version can be obtained from

Newsbeat is a full 32-bit, multithreaded, PM USENET newsreader
for OS/2.
Newsbeat for OS/2 supports:
- reading
- posting
- e-mail replies
- uuencode/uudecode
- kill-files
- multi-user logons
Newsbeat is multithreaded allowing you to do more than one
function at a time.
