Innovative Logic Corp is proud to announce the uploading of the new
IRC/2 Version 0.50 to hobbes.nmsu.edu. The file will be uploaded as
/incoming/irc2_050.zip and will reside in /os2/network/tcpip/irc2_050.zip.
IRC/2 is a shareware OS/2 multi-threaded client for Internet Relay Chat
that supports virtually all of ircII's command set. It is a native OS/2
32-bit program with a colourized display and a PM settings program.
IRC/2 supports partial irc scripting with full scripting support planned
for version 1.0 (release in early fourth quarter 1995).
The traditional ircII text interface is used in the current version. This
version also supports multiple users with distinct ini files for each
individual. The shareware version of IRC/2 comes with a 30 day license
for evaluation purposes. This license continues for as many upgrades as
may become available during your trial period.
PM IRC/2 is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 1996 and will
include all of IRC/2's functionality. PM specific enhancements will
be incorporated into the client as well as the scripting language that
is supported by IRC/2. For information about this product, please
