OS/2 SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP
of the
PHILADELPHIA AREA COMPUTER SOCIETY
The OS/2 SIG of the Philadelphia Area Computer Society invites all interested
computer users to attend the November monthly meeting:
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 1996 7:00 - 10:00 PM
IBM Office Building, 580 East Swedesford Road, Wayne, PA
*** SPECIAL F E A T U R E PRESENTATION ***
- - OS/2 WARP USAGE REVIEW & TUTORIAL - -
Main theme for the November meeting will be discussions, Q&A and live
demonstrations of OS/2 Warp and associated utilities & applications. Emphasis
will be placed on all the day-to-day functions, tricks and other chores which
OS/2 users all need to do. An OS/2 Warp system will be available to
demonstrate a wide variety of applications & utilities, including on-line
internet.
This session will be especially beneficial to new OS/2 users and other persons
who may have a keen interest, but have many questions before embarking with a
new operating system. Light refreshments (soda, chips and pretzels) will be
available for everyone, free of charge.
MARK THE DATE AND TIME: November 20th, 7:00pm. If you have questions about
OS/2, this is the right place to get all the answers.
The IBM building is located approximately 1.5 miles south of the intersection
of S. Gulph Road & Route 202 in King of Prussia, PA.
From Philadelphia, the Blue Route (I-476), PA Turnpike, NJ, etc., go to the
Schuylkill Expressway (I-76). Get off in King of Prussia at exit for Route 202
South (Exit 26B). Stay in right lane. East Swedesford Rd. splits off from Rte
202 almost immediately. Pass by Home Depot, Royal Bank & Sunoco Service
Station. Cross Warner Rd, Drummers Lane & Old Eagle School Rd. IBM is third
building on the left after crossing Old Eagle School Rd.
From Norristown areas, head south on Route 202. King of Prussia Mall will be
on your right, followed by major intersection at S. Gulph Rd. Stay in the
right lane after crossing S. Gulph Rd. Then proceed as indicated above after
passing over the overpass above the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76).
From Paoli, West Chester and vicinity, take Rte. 202 North. Exit at Devon by
the Valley Forge Music Fair and Gateway Shopping Center. Go to Valley Forge
Road, pass under Route 202, and then turn off onto E. Swedesford Rd. heading
north. IBM building at 580 East Swedesford Road is on the right, approximately
1.25 miles from Valley Forge Rd.
Entrance is on the right side of the building, between two buildings at 580
and 530 E. Swedesford Rd. Parking is available in marked areas.
