AppWait allows applications stored on a network drive to be placed in the OS/2
startup folder. Until the executable and working directory drive letters are
available, AppWait presents a dialog that displays, "Waiting for X:".

Program icons set up with AppWait behave just like normal program icons. For
instance, if the application is minimized, double clicking on the icon brings
the application to the foreground.

AppWait is distributed as shareware. It can be registered through
BMT Micro at http://www.bmtmicro.com
  Personal license is $10.
  Site license $100

AppWait can be obtained from the following locations:
  http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/croftd/appwait.htm
  ftp://ftp-os2.cdrom.com/pub/os2/incoming/AppWait.zip
     to be moved to /pub/os2/network/other
  ftp://ftp-os2.nmsu.com/incoming/AppWait.zip
  ftp://ftp.bmtmicro.com/bmtmicro/appwait.zip
