Prominare Inc. announces a special offer for TeamOS/2 members that they can
receive a discount of 35% from the suggested prices of Prominare Validator and
Prominare Designer. The offer is valid from November 1st until the end of the
year.

Prominare Designer is an OS/2 PM based programmer's development tool for
creating fully featured GUIs for OS/2, Windows and Windows NT. It is capable
of importing and converting resources from OS/2 to Windows and Windows to
OS/2. It now supports new notebook, push button and MLE styles added to OS/2
Warp Version 4.0 (Merlin).

Prominare Designer allows the developer to create visual interfaces for an
application in a matter of minutes without having to write any source code.
This productivity gain remains high throughout the development of the
application, even as new visual interface elements are added.

Prominare Designer generates code for multiple class libraries and multiple
compilers, and offers the capability to generate code across platforms, eg
OS/2, Windows 3.1 and Windows NT, all from one tool. This feature makes the
process of developing for multiple platforms easy.

Further details can be found at

Prominare Validator provides the application developer the means of
monitoring errors as they occur within an application both on a parameter by
parameter basis and on a return basis. When an error is detected, Prominare
Validator reports the source module and line number where the problem
occurred. New features added in the second release include reduced memory
requirements, enhanced full screen support and monitoring of memory leakage.

Prominare Validator provides support for the APIs of OS/2 2.0, OS/2 2.1, OS/2
Warp, Version 3.0, OS/2 Warp Version 4.0, Pen for OS/2, MMPM/2, Dive and Bidi.
New support has been added for the FFST, Logging and real-time MIDI APIs now
found in OS/2 Warp Version 4.0.

Prominare Validator does not require debug code to determine precise problems
quickly, it automatically compares every parameter with its OS/2 Technical
Reference definition. When a parameter is incorrect, Prominare Validator will
return additional error information that details what is wrong. It monitors
each OS/2 API for error returns so that both expected and unexpected error
returns can be viewed.

To make it even easier to use, Prominare Validator includes a utility called
Prominare ViewPort. The validation routines will relay information to
Prominare ViewPort where the programmer can actually watch - in real time -
the validation error information. ViewPort records the parameter error, along
with the module and line number in the source code.

Prominare Validator can be used for in-house development and testing as it
allows dynamically caused error logs to be created in application beta test
sites, making it easier to see where problems may be occurring.

Specific information on which, why and where API failures occur is provided,
making distance problem solving much simpler.
