The OS/2 Bible Software Update (10-28-96)

A) The Codex Bible Concordance for OS/2 (version 1.2) is now being beta tested
by our registered users. It includes a number of features, including printing
support, and Bible reference support. Currently available are Hitchcock's
Bible Names and Easton's Bible Dictionary. Additionally, Vines and Torrey's
Topical index will be released once they are formatted. All of these will be
free. So will Webster's Bible which will be complete before long.

IMPORTANT:
==========
With the release of 1.2, the initial introductory price of $35 will be
history. All the documentation since the beginning (July 1995) has stated that
the price will be $50. Codex has grown tremendously since then (check the
revision history) so I feel now is the right time. The good news, though, is
that I've decided to make it $45 rather than $50. The rest of the good news is
that you can still get it for $35 if you do so now--I'm expecting to release
1.2 in a week or so.

Also, if you believe yourself to be a registered user, but did not receive
email from me concerning how to get the beta, please let me know. I've got all
my registrations filed away, but could have overlooked one. Another real
problem is keeping up with everyone's changing e-mail addresses. So just let
me know if you didn't hear from me about the beta.

And, if you are not on the general OS/2 Bible Software Newsletter mailing
list, just drop me a line.

B) The WordWise Daily Scripture Calendar is getting its first update in a
while. This includes online help, an option to hide the menubar and frame
controls, a "stay-on-top-of-other-windows" option, and some font-handling
changes for dealing with Merlin.

C) Codex 1.3 and WordWise 1.7 will follow closely behind. The big change there
will be DDE support for both. That way you can access Codex from WordWise to:
read the day's Bible reading, look up the daily verse in context, get the
answer to the daily Bible quiz, etc.

Thank you for your continued support,
Brandon Barnes
