SOMXBASE Announcement
I will be posting a SOM interface to xBase dbf, dbt and mdx files on Sept 30.
The code is based on the engine that powers our popular REXXBASE software.
A copy of SMXBS100.ZIP will be found at hobbes.nmsu.edu in the os2/incoming
directory. Please wait until Sept. 30.
While this release is minimal in function, we plan, over the life of the
project, to create an object-oriented-style interface to dbase files. I
mention style because I believe that object-oriented databases require a far
more sophisticated physical structure.
During the initial phase of development we will market the product through
the shearer channels.

I'm flying without a license on this one. Especially when it comes to OO.
Any help will be appreciated and maybe compensated.
