BT&T Consumer Technology's TAXDOLLARS 1996 is the only personal tax planning
and preparation software program available for OS/2 users. TAXDOLLARS 1996
helps OS/2 users plan, prepare, and complete their 1996 tax returns in an
intuitive, friendly environment.
Product Features:

TAXDOLLARS 1996 has been specifically designed to follow the Form 1040 process
and prints common IRS forms and reports on virtually any type of paper. Its
friendly graphical user interface follows the 1040 form line-by-line, using
automatic link to complete other required forms or schedules.
Its automatic calculation feature constantly updates the bottom line on the
window titles, requiring no user action to immediately see the results. Users
may now also view the information in a variety of formats (e.g. standard tax
forms ,bar and pie charts). This enables users to see at a glance where their
tax dollars and deductions are.
Forms or schedules can be removed from the tax return but all user information
is retained, allowing the user to re-use a form or schedule should their tax
situation change at a later date. In addition, there is no limit on the number
of returns that can be prepared using TAXDOLLARS 1996.
TAXDOLLARS 1996 also includes tax tips and IRS statistics to assist the user
in planning to maximize his or her tax situation. In addition, its 1040PC
Direct Deposit feature enables users to receive refunds directly from the IRS
into their bank accounts.
TAXDOLLARS 1996 also features the ability to print from one disk. This allows
users to save just their tax returns on a single floppy disk and take them
elsewhere to be printed.

TAXDOLLARS 1996 includes the forms needed for most tax situations, including
salaried employees, homeowners, investors, small or home-based business owners
and those seeking tax credits.
The following forms and schedules are included in TAXDOLLARS 1996: Form 1040,
W2, 2106, 2441, 4562, 8829, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV and Schedule A, B, C, D, E,
EIC, R, and SE. State tax calculations for California, Illinois, New York and
North Carolina are also included.
