NEW RELEASE: AFE 2.6
AFE (Archive Front End) is a native OS/2 PM application that provides
a point and click user friendly front end for the management of archived
files under OS/2 2.1 and Warp.
AFE works with the free OS/2 versions of ZIP/UNZIP, ZOO, LH16/LH32,
the DOS Shareware ARJ, and McAfee's OS/2 V-Scan.
With AFE you can create compressed archives, selectively extract
all or individual member files, delete member files, add selected
files, virus scan one or a set of archives, view or print a text file
contained in the archive, or view an INF type file in the archive.
You may alternatively open a folder/icon view on the member
files, which allows you to run an executable or drag and drop one
or more of the member files on another application.
AFE is shareware with a $22.50 registration fee.
