(AFP) An explosive detonated in a discotheque in northeastern Colombia
early Sunday, killing at least one person and injuring 20, authorities said."We
are trying to establish whether it was the act of criminal gangs,"
police chief Carlos Rodriguez told reporters in the border city of Cucuta
where the incident occurred. An unidentified person detonated what was probably
a grenade, police said. Most of the victims were injured by shrapnel, according
to Rodriguez.
PITTSBURGH An unidentified city police sergeant is facing possible discipline
for having his picture taken in uniform while wearing a unicorn mask
and standing next to a porn star who had just been thrown
out of a Pittsburgh Pirates game for dancing in the costume head. But
the woman who took the picture, an adult film producer named Steviee
Hughes, said she's not sure what the fuss is all about, though
she's assuming it has more to do with adult entertainer Andy San
Dimas posing next to the officer than it does the oversized animal
head he wore on July 13.Calling it a "mountain made out of
mole hill," Hughes said, "I'm sure if she wouldn't have been a
porn star, it would have been OK."City public safety officials said Dimas
was in town last Saturday to dance at a local night club
but went to the Pirates game first and was ejected by security
for refusing to sit down after she was seen dancing while wearing
the large unicorn head. When Dimas was taken to a security office at
PNC Park, the sergeant and others were standing around and Hughes said
he agreed to wear the unicorn head and pose for a picture,
which Hughes then posted on Twitter. That's when the tweet hit the fan.Gossipy
news blogs Deadspin and TMZ posted the photo as well as cellphone
video Hughes shot of Dimas dancing in the unicorn head just before
she was ejected. Rumors spread that the dancer was high on drugs
or part of a sexual cult fixated on unicorns.Hughes said the tr

<p style="font-size:xx-small;">FILE: 2008: Maryland Democratic Rep. Donna Edwards at a Capitol Hill
press conference.REUTERSMaryland Rep. Donna Edwards said Sunday she wasnt
ready to support a boycott of Florida over the Trayvon Martin case,
despite reported support from members of her own Congressional Black Caucus.Edwards,
a Democrat, told Fox News Sunday that she has yet to fully
examine the call to boycott, as proposed by civil rights leader the
Rev. Jesse Jackson.Jackson said after a Florida jury found neighborhood
watch volunteer George Zimmerman not guilty July 13 of all charges in
the fatal 2012 killing of Martin, a teenager, that his Rainbow PUSH
Coalition would consider a boycotting on Florida, which he characterized
as a kind of apartheid state."Edwards said that to her knowledge the
caucus has yet to formally discuss the issues and express concern about
a statewide boycott. The impact on some communities could be devastating,
Edwards said. Her comments follows three other caucus members -- Democratic
Reps. Lacy Clay, Bennie Thompson and Barbara Lee saying they would
support such a boycott."That's probably the best strategy because people
understand dollars and cents," Clay, D-Mo., said Friday, according to The
Hill newspaper. "And they understand, if there's a significant drop-off
in revenues at conventions, at Disney World and Universal Studios
that will get the attention of the powerful."
Hobby Lobby Inc. was given a temporary exemption Friday from a requirement
in the new federal health care law to offer insurance coverage for
the morning-after pill and similar emergency birth control methods or face
steep fines.U.S. District Judge Joe Heaton issued the preliminary injunction
for the Oklahoma City-based arts and crafts chain and stayed the case
until Oct. 1 to give the federal government time to consider filing
an appeal with the U.S. Supreme Court. The ruling was welcomed by the
Christian owners of Hobby Lobby and its sister company, the Mardel Christian
bookstore chain. Attorneys for the Green family have argued that their religious
beliefs are so deeply rooted that having to provide every form of
birth control would violate their conscience."We're just very excited. This
is a great step for us," Hobby Lobby president Steve Green said.Members
of the Green family say they believe life begins at conception, and
oppose birth control methods that can prevent implantation of a fertilized
egg in the uterus, such as an intrauterine device or forms of
emergency contraception. The company offers 16 other forms of birth control
mentioned in the federal health care law in its health insurance plans."To
offer prescriptions that take life is not an option for us," said
Green, who attended Friday's hearing with other family members and supporters.Heaton,
who rejected the companies' request to block the mandate in November, issued
