state of antiquities affairs minister has declared the discovery of a historic
coastal port dating back to King Khufu of the fourth dynasty of
the old pharaonic kingdom. The Franco-Egyptian team working in the Suez
archaeological area also discovered hieroglyphic papyri and stone anchors.
Most of the discovered papyri date back to the 27th year of
the reign of King Khufu. The papyri included information about number of
the port workers and details about their daily lives. They were transferred

(110 miles) south the coastal city of Suez.In a statement, Ibrahim said
the port was used to transfer copper from Sinai to the Nile
valley.The team working in the Suez archaeological area also discovered
hieroglyphic papyri, considered the oldest found in Egypt.Ibrahim said the

A group of education organizations and state leaders is proposing a kind
of national treaty that would regulate online education. The arrangement,
announced Thursday, would create a common market and make it easier for
institutions to enroll students anywhere in the country.Currently, regulations
that authorize universities' and companies' online courses vary from state
to state.The proposed state compact would also create a uniform set of
consumer protections. That could give students in some states new recourse
to complain to state regulators about a program that's based elsewhere.
But in some states, the common standard could dilute oversight.About 7 million
U.S. students currently access college courses online.

that he helped a felon escape the downtown jail because he had
been threatened and told there was a contract out on him and
