but it wasn't known if the couple was armed, McKinnon said. Authorities
have previously characterized the Hakkens as "anti-government."An Amber
Alert for the boys has been issued in Florida, Louisiana and other
states. The boys had been living since last year with their maternal grandparents,
who were granted permanent custody Tuesday. Joshua Hakken lost custody of
his sons last year after a drug possession arrest in Louisiana, and
he later tried to take them from a foster home at gunpoint,
authorities have said. The Hillsborough Sheriff's office has issued an arrest

want to hear from them. Let him have a voice. That is
very important. He has a voice," McKinnon said. "We certainly can't fix
anything if we can't talk to him. We are willing to listen."
TEHRAN, Iran A top Iranian lawmaker declared Sunday that Iran will
never halt its nuclear development program, a day after the latest round
of international talks failed to reach agreement on the issue.Alaeddin Boroujerdi
said the talks were "considered effective and a step forward," but he
added, "the Islamic Republic of Iran will never stop uranium enrichment
activities."Boroujerdi, who heads a parliamentary committee on national
security and foreign policy, said the talks should continue. He was quoted
by the ISNA news agency.Western powers are concerned that Iran may move
toward production of nuclear weapons. Iran denies that, insisting that its
program is peaceful.World powers have repeatedly demanded that Iran close
down its Fordo underground uranium enrichment plant that is enriching uranium
up to 20 percent. Uranium that is enriched to 90 percent can
be used in weapons. The U.N. has enacted four rounds of economic sanctions
against Iran to try to force it to curtail its program, but
Iran has remained defiant."If one day the (Iranian) administration decides
to close down Fordo, the parliament will oppose the decision, definitely,"
Boroujerdi was quoted as saying. He said Iran will continue reinforcing
the plant because of foreign threats. Both the U.S. and Israel have
hinted at military action against Iran's nuclear facilities if diplomacy
fails.Ali Akbar Velayati, an adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah
Ali Khamenei, blame

<p style="font-size:xx-small;">e.""It's the very definition of government
intrusion in a woman's personal medical decisions," he said.Brownback has
signed multiple anti-abortion measures into law, and the number of pregnancies
terminated in the state has declined 11 percent since he took office
in January 2011.The governor said he still has to review this year's
bill thoroughly but added, "I am pro-life."This year's legislation is less
restrictive than a new North Dakota law that bans abortions as early
as the sixth week of pregnancy and a new Arkansas law prohibiting
most abortions after the 12th week. But many abortion opponents still see
it as a significant step."There is a clear statement from Kansas with
respect to the judgment on the inherent value of human life," said
Senate Public Health and Welfare Committee Chairwoman Mary Pilcher-Cook,
a Shawnee Republican and leading advocate for the measure. The bill passed
despite any solid data on how many sex-selection abortions are performed
in Kansas. A 2008 study by two Columbia University economists suggested
the practice of aborting female fetuses -- widespread in some nations where
parents traditionally prefer sons -- is done in the U.S. on a
limited basis. But legislators on both sides of the issue said the practice
should be banned, however frequent it is.The bill also would require physicians
to give women information that addresses breast cancer as a potential risk
of abortion. Advocates on both sides acknowle
SEOUL, South Korea A top South Korean national security official said
Sunday that North Korea may be setting the stage for a missile
test or another provocative act with its warning that it soon will
be unable to guarantee diplomats' safety in Pyongyang. But he added that
the North's clearest objective is to extract concessions from Washington
and Seoul.North Korea's warning last week followed weeks of war threats
and other efforts to punish South Korea and the U.S. for ongoing
joint military drills, and for their support of U.N. sanctions over Pyongyang's
Feb. 12 nuclear test. Many nations are deciding what to do about
the notice, which said their diplomats' safety in Pyongyang cannot be guaranteed
beginning this Wednesday.Tensions between Seoul and Pyongyang led South
Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff to announce Sunday that its chairman had
put off a visit to Washington. The U.S. military said its top
commander in South Korea had also canceled a trip to Washington. The
South Korean defense minister said Thursday that North Korea had moved a
missile with "considerable range" to its east coast, possibly to conduct
a test launch. His description suggests that the missile could be the Musudan
missile, capable of striking American bases in Guam with its estimated range
of up to 4,000 kilometers (2,490 miles).Citing North Korea's suggestion
that diplomats leave the country, South Korean President Park Geun-hye's
national security director said
