July 22, 2009: A worker stocks an aisle at Hannaford supermarket in
Augusta, Ga.APWegmans grocery chain has reportedly cut health care benefits
for part-time workers, citing changes brought about by President Obama's
signature health care reform law.Employees of the Rochester, N.Y.-based
grocer told The Buffalo News thatpart-time health benefits had been cut
and that the company had told them the decision was made as
a result of ObamaCare. The company, which employs 1,433 full-time employees
and 4,304 part-time employees in the Buffalo Niagara region, declined to
comment on the specific changes to employee health coverage, the newspaper
reported. As a private company, we dont share specifics of our employee benefits
programs. Its a given that health care reform will result in some
changes to our benefits program, but it will not change our commitment
to meeting the needs of our employees, Wegmans told the newspaper in
a statement.Under the law, companies with 50 or more workers must provide
affordable coverage to their full-time employees who work 30 hours or more
per week or risk a series of escalating tax penalties if just
one worker ends up getting government-subsidized insurance.Last week, the
White House unexpectedly announced a one-year delay in ObamaCare's employer
requirement, saying the administration needed more time to work out technical
details that employers find too burdensome. Some saw a political motive,
since Republicans
are all caricatures of two real
people caught in a tragedy.Zimmerman should have listened to the 911 emergency
dispatch operator who told him to stop following Martin. Why did he have
a gun if he was simply part of a neighborhood watch program? He
had no basis to suspect Martin of any crime. So why does
he describe Martin as suspicious to police? Why does he apparently lump Martin
with people he describes as these a--holes, they always get away. Why didnt
Martin just walk away from Zimmerman? But Martin is dead. He cant speak
for himself and get beyond the box of racial stereotypes the media
built for him.Zimmerman is alive. He has chosen not to speak at
his trial, and although the prosecution played an interview he did with
Fox News' Sean Hannity, it is still no match for skipping an
ideal chance to tell his story when everyone is listening in the
courtroom and on television. Now, no matter what the verdict, he is going
to carry his box of racial stereotypes around until his death. His
identity will always be as a want-to-be cop who trailed a black
kid who was not doing anything wrong, got in a fight with
him, pulled out a gun and killed him.Ultimately, it is the job
of the media to give straight, objective coverage of any story.Whatever
the final verdict on Zimmerman, the media is clearly guilty of playing
on the most primitive racial divisions in our society to fuel racial
animosity and boost ratings. There are no winners here.Juan Willi

it's useless: This move targets the hip flexors, which are not involved
in abdominal development, says Muelrath. "It also creates a lot of stress
on the spine."What to do instead: Target abdominal muscles by working to
stabilize your body position with planks. To do: Lie face down on the
floor and prop yourself up on your forearms; extend your legs behind
you until your body is parallel to the floor. Engage your core
by drawing your stomach back and up towards your spine and hold;

July 11, 2013: House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi speaks to reporters on
Capitol Hill in Washington.APThe big news on ObamaCare these past two weeks
has been the administration's announcement that it will delay by one year
the requirement on businesses to provide health insurance.Nancy Pelosi,
though, had a curious take on the whole thing. Actually, she instructed
reporters, "The mandate was not delayed."The House Democratic leader used
some creative reasoning to make her case -- she claimed the administration
really only delayed the requirement on businesses to report insurance coverage
details. But The Washington Post fact-checker on Friday shut it down, effectively
ruling that Pelosi is trying to "deny reality.""Yes, reporting requirements
were delayed. But there also was a one-year delay of the actual
employer mandate. It's right there in the announcement," the Post wrote.-
House Democratic Leader Nancy PelosiHere's what Pelosi said during a press
conference on Thursday:"The point is, is that the mandate was not delayed.
Certain reporting by businesses that could be perceived as onerous, that
reporting requirement was delayed, and partially to review how it would
work and how it could be better. It was not a delay
of the mandate for the businesses."Pelosi was correct in the first part
of that statement. In an announcement last week on the Treasury Department
blog, Mark J. Mazur. assistant secretary for Tax Policy at Treasury, said
