I have released version 2.0.2 of Xgmod/gmod. GMOD is a MOD/669/ULT/MTM/S3M
file player for Linux and the Gravis Ultrasound card. Xgmod adds an X
interface. It can be found at the following locations:
ftp://ftp.digex.net/pub/cnj/robinson/files/gmod+x-2.0.2.tgz
ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/apps/sound/players/gmod+x-2.0.2.tgz
(Note: Version 2.0.2 has not yet been uploaded to sunsite, since the
Incoming directory is closed. It will be uploaded when Incoming is reopened).
I am also constructing a Xgmod WWW page, available through:
http://www.cnj.digex.net/~robinson
This release requires VoxKit version 2.90-2 or later. Please use
'cat /dev/sndstat' to verify the VoxKit version you are using!
Highlights of this release:
- Tracking window.
- Remove colors from fallback resources, and put them in an app-defaults
file instead.
- Handle WM_DELETE_WINDOW - closing a window using the window manager will
now close only the individual window, not the entire application.
- Lists don't show their name when they are empty
- Automatic detection of VoxKit driver version at run time. The
OLD_DRIVER compile option is no longer needed -- the binary will work
with both driver versions (2.90-2 and 3.0+).
Please send any suggestions, bug reports, etc. to Andrew J. Robinson
(robinson@cnj.digex.net). If you find any modules that do not play correctly
with GMOD, please inform me.
