The May meeting of the Washington DC metro area Linux User Group will
coincide with the DECUS meeting (Washington DC, Convention Center).
Note the date change from our usual Wednesday, to TUESDAY, May 9.
We have a great honor of having Linus himself as a speaker. It was too
difficult to choose any particular new development to discuss, and so
Linus will talk about all of them. The announced talk is thus:
"Linus talks about what he is interested in", by Linus Torvalds.
The meeting will take place at 7pm in Room 27 of the Washington
Convention Center, corner of 9th Street NW and New York Ave./H Street,
2 blocks north of the Gallery Place metro station. We invite
everybody; the meeting is free and and open to everyone interested in
Linux.
We thank DECUS for their help in setting up this situation. Linus
comes to DC at their invitation, to participate in the Linux track at
the DECUS conference---a series of talks by Linux users and a kernel
course given by Linus Torvalds. I encourage everyone to have a look
