Subject: Jailkit 2.1 released
Date: Sat, 9 Sep 2006 09:35:41 -0500

Jailkit 2.1 is released.

Jailkit is a suite to setup and deploy chroot jails and restrictive
shells. Setting up a chroot shell, a shell limited to some specific
command, or a daemon inside a chroot jail is a lot easier using these
utilities.

Jailkit 2.1 has some minor updates:
- improved logging
- allowed sub-second intervals for jk_socketd
- improved various checks in jk_jailuser
- improved handling of recursive directories in jk_cp
- new utility jk_list to list all jailed processes

Subject: Change Management Server ALMsuite 0,6 released

ALM Suite rel 0.6 for SUSE EL 9 and RH EL 4 has been released by Head
West Software Inc. at http://headwestsoftware.com/products/alm_suite.html.

ALM Suite integrates multiple Open Source Development Tools into a
single installer
package for Application Lifecyle Management (we are fully buzzword 2.1
compliant) . This makes installation easy and consolidates all the tools
on a single server. Currently these tools are:

* Subversion: Revision control (http://subversion.tigris.org/
* RequestTracker: Change management (http://bestpractical.com/rt)
* CruiseControl: Integration Building and Unit Testing
(http://sourceforge.net/projects/cruisecontrol)
* Xplanner: Agile Project Management
(http://sourceforge.net/projects/xplanner)

Head West Software have an active roadmap for this OSS product and will
be adding integrations and new features over the coming months. We do
need feedback and comment from the community please -- feel welcome on
our forums and WiKi at http://headwestsoftware.com/.

Currently the ALM Suite depends on the SpikeSource
(http://spikesource.com/) application stack to run. SpikeSource is not
distributed with ALM Suite and must be downloaded separately from the
SpikeSource website (http://spikesource.com/).

Please feel to contact me with any questions.
