Description:

        DemoRecorder is a screen recorder for Linux
        with the ability to record sound from the
        microphone which is synchronized to the recorded video.

        A screen recorder is a tool which can record all
        desktop-activity into a movie and it can be used for
        * training of users,
        * augmenting of documentation, howtos, etc
        * marketing of software by explaining what a software can do
        * usability tests
        * ...

        DemoRecorder has export-filters for publising
        * on the Web using Flash technology.
                see also the tutorial:
                http://DemoRecorder.com/howto/easy-web-publishing
        * on Video DVD ( MPEG2 export filter )
        * in AVI-format with MPEG4

        All export filters support exporting the sound
        recorded from the microphone.

        The recording technology of DemoRecorder provides
        the equivalent of high framerates while having
        low CPU requirements. For more info, please read
                http://DemoRecorder.com/info/recording-technology.php

        The export-filter for the Web generates all files
        necessary for Web-publishing, i.e.
        * an html-fragment to copy-paste into the web-page where
          you want to show the video.
        * an FLV-file containing the video.
        * an SWF-file which contains the loader/player for
          streaming the FLV-video.

        The video can be played back with any browser having
        the Flash-Player-Plugin Version 7 or later installed
        which is the case for more than 90% of all browser
        installations.

        The FLV-video has to be loaded from a webserver, so
        please test it with your local testing server instead
        of just loading it from the file-system.

DemoRecorder is commercial software
and has a free 30 day evaluation period.

Feedback is welcome and feature wishes
have a good chance to be included into DemoRecorder.
