Subject: COMMERCIAL: BalanceNG 1.389 available
Date: 8 Jul 2005 22:10:09 GMT
FYI: BalanceNG 1.389 is now available at http://www.BalanceNG.net .
Changes:
* Parameter "vrrppreempt" default was changed to "true"
(in order to prepare for the upcoming "target tracking" functionality).
* Bngagent was updated with a more portable and cleaner daemonize() function.
* The interactive line buffer size was increased once more for Solaris.
* Several smaller bugs fixed, application of code review results.
BalanceNG (Balance Next Generation) is a modern software IP load balancing solution
running on Linux and Solaris operating systems.
BalanceNG is small, fast and (relatively) easy to use and setup. It offers session persistence,
different distribution methods (Round Robin, Random, Hash and Least Resource) and
a customizable UDP health check agent (available in source code).
BalanceNG supports VRRP (Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol) to set up High Available
configurations on multiple nodes.
BalanceNG is available at http://www.BalanceNG.net .
