We are trying to promote our community wireless group in Sydney
Australia. We use unix routers across the network, and would love to
attract some linux users to the network.

Check out what our community wireless group is doing.

Subject: P2PWall's IpTables scripting language "ROPE" - Version 20050613

The iptables ROPE module (from the P2PWall project) enables users to
write IP packet matching logic using a simple and safe scripting
language. Scripts are installed into iptables chains using the iptables
command and have "read-only" access to all the packet header fields and
the data payload.

Example scripts are povided to identify Gnutella, Bittorrent, eDonkey
2000 and large HTTP downloads. Work on a range other popular P2P
protocols is in progress.

The 20050613 release supplies the following changes..

1. The "ne" keyword has been fixed. Previous versions reversed the sense
    of the test.

For documentation, tutorial, dowloads and sample scripts, vist the ROPE
project home page at: http://www.lowth.com/rope.
