Subject: libinklevel-0.6.4rc2 test release available - testers needed
Hi!
Libinklevel [1] is a linux library for retrieving the ink level of epson
and hp printers. Various frontends (command line, KDE, Gnome) are
available.
I have put the second test version of libinklevel 0.6.4 online [2]. HP
DeskJet 3320 and HP DeskJet 3325 equipped with only the tri-color
cartridge should now be supported.
If you have one of these printers in this setup please test the new
version of libinklevel (0.6.4rc2). Tests with other HP and Epson
printers are also encouraged.
If this new version works with your printer, an email with the name of
the printer is sufficent. Please also send me an email if your Epson
printer is on the "supported" list already.
If the new version does not work with your printer please send me the
complete debug output of the "ink" program [3]. If you have an Epson
printer please also try with the last stable version of libinklevel
(0.6.3) and with a recent version of escputil from the
gimp-print-project [4] if possible.
