Linux-Announce Digest #996, Volume #4 Thu, 30 Dec 2004 15:13:04 EST

Contents:
guile-gtk 0.40 (fwd) ("Frederick Noronha (FN)")

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Date: Thu, 30 Dec 2004 02:07:23 CST
From: "Frederick Noronha (FN)" <fred@bytesforall.org>
Subject: guile-gtk 0.40 (fwd)

Guile Gtk version 0.40 is now available at

        ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/guile-gtk/guile-gtk-0.40.tar.gz

Many sites around the world mirror ftp.gnu.org, please use one near
you. For a full list see

        http://www.gnu.org/order/ftp.html

Guile Gtk is a set of bindings for using Gtk 1.2, GdkPixbuf and Glade
in Guile. Guile Gtk has been going for some years, but this is its
first release as an official GNU project. The Guile Gtk home page is

        http://www.gnu.org/software/guile-gtk

Only Gtk 1.2 is supported, not the current Gtk 2.x series. Perhaps
this will change in the future.
