Subject: Real Poker v0.2.7
Version 0.2.7 of Real Poker has been released. Real Poker is a
work-in-progress simulation of poker.
Real Poker is available for download at:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/realpoker
The changes from the previous release of Real Poker are:
.added preference to allow user to decide whether or not to show the
starting cards in the results of game simulations
.removed the preference to show starting hands by individual cards
(showing starting hands by individual cards is overkill and slows
down processing)
.added game simulations with robot players having a limited capacity
.new format for Game Library
.new format for .rprc file
.newly working functions:
Misc->Stats ... see (some) stats from learning and from simulations
Misc->Game Library->Delete Game ... mark a game for deletion
Misc->Game Library->Undelete Game ... remove deletion mark from game
Misc->Game Library->Learn Game ... collect data to enable robot
players to learn to play a game
Misc->Player Library->Save Library ... save player library
Misc->Player Library->Delete Player ... mark a player for deletion
Misc->Player Library->Undelete Player ... remove deletion mark from player
Misc->Player Library->Edit Player ... load highlighted player for editing
Misc->Player Library->Create Player ... create a player
Misc->Player Library->Dismiss ... exit from the Player Library function
Game->Select Players ... select one or more players (to use in
game simulations)
.fixed problem in counts with straights and straight flushes never losing
.added some sounds & a preference item for playing sounds
.numerous minor improvements
.numerous minor bug fixes
