Prof. John Willinsky is currently the Pacific Press Professor of Literacy

Royal Society of Canada. He holds prestigious Mac Arthur Fellowship. He
directs the Public Knowledge Project, which is dedicated to developing
online conferences, journals, and indexing systems that improve the
scholarly and public quality of academic research. He is also an expert
in using technology in literacy efforts.
Prof. John Willinsky will address on the current situation around
electronic access to research and its potential for the future under

the existing and new Indian journals in moving into an online environment

research.
It may be noted that the open access project is making the information
