Suomen OneWorld -portaaliyhdistys ja Kehitysyhteistyön palvelukeskus
KEPA tekevät UM:n kehitysyhteistyöosastolle selvitystä vapaiden ja
avoimen lähdekoodin ohjelmistojen merkityksestä kehitysmaille.
(Free/Libre and Open Source Software - FLOSS)

Selvityshankkeeseen osallistuvat suomalaisen tutkimusryhmän lisäksi
brasilialainen Cesar Brod, eteläafrikkalainen Nico Coetzee ja
intialainen Frederick Noronha. He ovat mukana selvityshankkeen
työseminaarin päätteeksi 22.11. järjestettävässä avoimessa seminaarissa
perjantaina 22.11. klo 10.00-15.00. Kepan auditoriossa (Sörnäisten
rantatie 25 B, 1.krs).

Seminaarin ohjelma rakentuu kahdesta osasta. Aamupäivän ohjelmassa ovat
selvityshankkeen tutkijan Niranjan Rajanin ja Tampereen yliopiston
professorin Tere Vadenin alustukset. Iltapäivän ohjelma perustuu
Frederick Noronhan, Cesar Brodin ja Nico Coetzeen esittelemiin
projekteihin ja niiden kokemusten arviointeihin.

Seminaarikielenä on englanti. Tervetuloa!
