Subject: V0.7.1 - Open Source Audio Library Project
Announcing version 0.7.1 of the Open Source Audio Library
Project (OSALP). OSALP is an object oriented C++ library
that contains all the audio capabilty one needs to add audio
to their application. It is great for rapid prototyping, adding
audio to a non-audio application, and developing an audio
application. New features in V0.7.1 include support for the
FreeBSD platform, a new mp3 read module based on the open
source splay library, automatic number of channels conversion,
as well as a Makefile system based on autoconf. Currently
the library is available for Linux, Solaris Sparc, and
FreeBSD and is in source form. It is licensed under LGPL.
