=====BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE=====

Overview
********

`help2man' is a tool for automatically generating simple manual pages
from program output.

It is intended to provide an easy way for software authors to include
a manual page in their distribution without having to maintain that
document.

Given a program which produces resonably standard `--help' and
`--version' outputs, `help2man' will attempt to re-arrange that output
into something which resembles a manual page.

Availability
************

The current version is available from:

    ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/help2man/

                Large Scale Linux Information Project
                http://lslip.luky.org/

 Do you want to challenge to the scale limitation of Linux?

[Objective]

        The objective of Large Scale Linux Infomation Project is to
        collect as many examples as possible where Linux is operated in
        very large scale, and to open them to the public.
        Volunteers should raise their hands!
        Please inform us your linux environment.

        You might say,"I am personally running a Linux network.
        This is not Large Scale one." Don't worry about that,
        but please do not hesitate to give us your information by
        consulting to Contributed Information and finding there have
        not been a similar case to yours. You can enjoy being broken
        your record.

        Your conributed information is, on general principles,
        open to the public in either form such as www/book/CD-ROM.
        Though the project team opens the contributed information,
        the contributor holds the copyright of the infomation.

        If you could kindly understand our general principles,
        please give us your prosperous information. Thank you.

[How to Inform]

   There are two ways to inform us. You can choose either of them.

     By Web form
         http://lslip.luky.org/inform.html Fill out all blanks
         in the web form, and push the button "DONE".

     By e-mail
         Please mail us to lslip@luky.org , by use of Recommended format.

[How come we started this project?]

    Don't you want to know about the "mastering Linux" examples?
    Good examples give us the materials to persuade a stupid superior
    and/or a naive sponsor, and make it easy for us to estimate how
    far we can go with a certain grade of machines.

    On the other hand, someone wants to brag of his/her Linux skill.
    There shall be a lot of examples of various severs, however,
    reports on the desk top graphic processing etc. are also welcomed.

    It is under the apprehension that there will be only a few reports
    from the commercial industries, and, even if there are some,
    they may not be easy to read.

    Though it should be the best way to collect the information
    to visit the site, this inquiry project has just started.

   Is there someone starts the Small Scale Linux Information Project?

[Need more information?]

     Please visit our web at http://lslip.luky.org/

Best Regards,
Hisaaki Shibata

                 Version 1.61 of NFTP is available.

NFTP is a powerful interactive textmode ftp client for BeOS Intel,

Most important fixes since 1.60:

- - HTTP proxy support was completely broken in 1.60;
- - date/time display was seriously broken in 1.60;
- - would no longer crash if TEMP/TMP points to invalid directory;
- - would no longer crash when editing passwords;
- - option "lowercase names on download" is now off by default;
- - win32 version would no longer crash on files dated 01-01-70;
- - mirroring works better;
- - when transferring single file, will ask for overwrite/resume/skip.

New features:
- -------------
- - scripting enhancements (mget/mput, mirroring);
- - NFTP remembers current local directory when default download path
  isn't set in nftp.ini;
- - support for FEAT/MLST (experimental; not enabled by default);
- - PKFA secure authentication (experimental; see
  http://www.ayukov.com/essays/pkfa.html).

NFTP user interface has been translated into English, Bulgarian, Brazilian
Portuguese, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian,
Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Russian, Spanish, Swedish and
Ukrainian.

More information including detailed list of new features and bugfixes and
links for downloading is available from http://www.ayukov.com/nftp/ .
NFTP users can also select "Update NFTP" from "Help" submenu which
will bring them to ftp://ftp.ayukov.com/pub/nftp .

NFTP is shareware. Unregistered version is fully functional but after
60 days of use will produce reminder when you login to site.
The registration fee is $25; see http://www.ayukov.com/nftp/buy.html.

Subject: glbiff v0.3.1 - OpenGL mailbox monitor
Date: Thu, 13 Jan 2000 23:28:36 GMT
Reply-To: mac@dgp.toronto.edu

=====BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE=====

glbiff v0.3.1
=============
This is a program similar to xbiff, except that it provides somewhat
nicer output. It requires the Mesa (OpenGL clone) libraries to render
the 3D mailbox. The idea comes from the "mailbox" program available on
SGI machines, and hence tries to mimic some of the features present in
it.

Note that this is an alpha version, and hence there are still "some"(tm)
outstanding bugs.

The program was written and tested on Linux. It may require some minor
changes for other flavours of UNIX.

Major changes
=============
- - big change: now using GLX instead of GLUT
- - glbiff now sets its ClassHint which makes it more window manager friendly;
  in particular we can set more options in WindowMaker for this program
- - man pages added
- - now under GPL
- - bug fixes and improvements

Getting glbiff
==============
The latest version, as well as most up to date documentation is always
available at

        http://www.dgp.toronto.edu/~mac/projects/glbiff.html

Present capabilities/features
=============================
* monitors multiple mailboxes (only mbox format[1 folder=1 file] for now)
* left mouse button click brings up mail reader (can be specified with
  command line argument "-mailprog")
* right mouse button click opens the mailbox without bringing up the
  mail reader (useful to check the message count)
* runs a user defined script/program when new mail arrives in any of
  the mailboxes ("-newmail")
* raised flag indicates unread mail in one of the mailboxes
* user-specified time-based sky colouring
