=====BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE=====

The Freezer Burn website is a new Linux-based website for the Linux community.
It contains links to many websites for various programs under a variety of
categories, as well as lists a number of mailing lists and usenet newsgroups.

Freezer Burn is a fan-based site (if you can call it such) for the Linux OS and
contains a number of major news items, information, tips, and hundreds of links
to other Linux websites and distributions. It is gearing up to be quite a
large Linux info-site and can become quite a success with the input from other
members of the Linux Community.

Freezer Burn also provides a home for some Linux Mandrake custom RPM packages
such as MultiMail, MajorDomo, PortSentry, and more. Already the response to
Freezer Burn is higher and more enthusiastic than expected!

Website hosting is also available from Freezer Burn, as the mirror of the MBSE
BBS website demonstrates. Anyone interested in space on the Freezer Burn
server for their own Linux project or informational page should feel free to
contact the staff at Freezer Burn.

Freezer Burn is, in and of itself, a living example of what a single person
running Linux with a vision, can do. To date, all of the content on the web
site was compiled by the site administrator, is running on a PII-350 with 64MB
RAM using Linux Mandrake 6.1 with Apache 1.3.9.

Oh, and all the web pages and graphics were done with the text editor Joe and
the GIMP respectively. Once you take a look at the site, you might find that a
little difficult to believe!

To reach Freezer Burn, point your web browser to (and bookmark):

http://tux.tzo.net

The Linux Mandrake custom RPMs can be accessed via FTP at:

ftp://tux.tzo.net/pub/custom

Contact information is available on the web site itself for those interested in
contributing to the project or interested in their own web space on the site.

"Good evening Mr. Gates, I'll be your server today," declares a gargantuan

=====BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE=====

Hi,

This message is to inform you that the Linux User Groups WorldWide website
(http://lugww.nllgg.nl/) has been renewed.

The group listing is a seperate page (http://lugww.nllgg.nl/lugww.php3)
and is dynamic generated. You can add new groups via a new form
(http://lugww.nllgg.nl/newlug.php3) and before they are accepted into the
mainstream they are held in a holding area
(http://lugww.nllgg.nl/newlugww.php3) which you now can see as well.

All entries can be maintained by the contactperson for that entry so
updates are no longer depending on a singe person.

The script takes care of some of the most common problems. However should
you run into problems then you should send a detailed message to
lugww@nllgg.nl regarding the subject.

Please do read on-screen instructions as that will simplify the handling.

Regards,
Hugo.

Date: Sun, 10 Oct 1999 21:24:06 GMT

=====BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE=====

The source of gdevlx50.c, a ghostscript driver for the Lexmark 5000, is
now available at <http://www.uq.net.au/~zzpwest/ftpfiles/lexmark.html>.

It was written and tested on a RedHat 6.0 system, in the ghostscript
5.50 distribution. You must download gs5.50 and compile gdevlx50.c into
the executable. The driver currently supports only unidirectional
600x600 black and colour printing.

Note that this driver has been written with ABSOLUTELY NO ASSISTANCE
from Lexmark. Please keep this in mind when you are considering the
purchase of a new printer. Lexmark, thanks for nothing.

Yours faithfully,
