Most of these are good things. It is a really bad thing to have
a full screen, decorationless window that can be raised and lowered,
or have xterms started on top of it. If you are making full screen
windows, I think it is your own responsibility to provide the user
with an easy, foolproof escape mechanism.

I won't disagree that in most cases, override-redirect windows
are a bad thing, but here, I think they are probably a good thing.
Anyways, this is drifting off-topic, though not as badly as
