It seems to me that it is still not "official" that i can trap the close
event from the window manager to bring up file save dialogs etc. .
There was a thread about this in Juli already (look at
http://www.redhat.com/linux-info/gtk/gtk-list/1997-July/0006.html)
Imagine you paint something nice with GIMP for one hour and then
accidentally click on the close button of the window decoration ....
