Sorry for this somewhat off-topic note but to where should I submit gimp bug
reports? Is there a gimp mailing list? I submitted a bug report June 25 about
a linking problem under Solaris 2.5 to the authors petm@xcf.berkeley.edu,
spencer@xcf.berkeley.edu but have never received a reply.
After installing gimp-0.99.10 on the U of Maryland astronomy computers I put it
aside because of the absence of documentation. Recently, after working through
the Adobe Photoshop tutorial I thought I would try again assuming I would be
now able to guess how things should work by analogy with Adobe Photoshop. I
noticed a much more severe problem, that all of the toolbox buttons except the
bottommost (color exchanger) one are blank. If there are supposed to be icons
on these buttons they are not appearing. If one of the gimp authors are
reading this please respond.
