The widget itself is very similar to GtkDrawinigArea widget. Lower level gdkgl functions make it easy to render on any widget that has OpenGL capable visual, rendering to off-screen pixmaps is also supported. Several examples included, every function documented, builds as shared library. Version 1.0 works best with gtk+ 1.0.x, version 1.1 fixes incompatiblity with gtk+ 1.1.5 Download GtkGLArea is distributed under GNU LIBRARY GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE.
