[gtk-list] Undefined Reference to GTK_?????

I've got glib1.1.4 and gtk+-1.1.3 compiled and installed. Now everytime I
try to compile something I get error messages saying undefined reference to
gtk_type_check_object_cast, and tons of other undefined references. I've
looked through my gtk-config for errors and I've tried manually compilling
with gcc:
gcc -g -Wall `gtk-config --cflags` -o warp warp.c `gtk-config --libs`
(also tried replacing gtk-config with actual flags and libs)
Any ideas? Thanks.
