If it's a REPL kind of thing, GtkText probably doesn't have that much
reusable code, you're likely better off with cut-and-paste. (I think
GtkText is scheduled for termination after Gtk 1.2 anyway.) Also see the
zvt terminal widget in gnome-libs.
If you've already read the tutorial you're probably in for a good bit of
source code perusal. :-)
