Hi,

I am new to the GTK kit, and am trying to get v.1.0.6 compile on a
SparcStation 2 using NetBSD 1.3.2. (I of course run Linux and other unixes
elsewhere).

the compile seems to be fine, with no significant complaints, other than in
the test program suite - which barfs with the following message:

bash-2.02# make
===>  Building for gtk+-1.0.6

<-- all goes fine here -->

cc -pipe -O2 -DGTK_NO_CHECK_CASTS -Wall -DUSE_XIM -Wl,-R/usr/X11R6/lib

<-- repeatedly 'till it gets bored. -->

my goal is to get Enlightenment to compile in some shape or form, but gtk
is kinda inherent!

working directly with enlightenment, it compiles with this error, and
continues to the point where it wants to test the GTK installation for imlib.

any help with this would be great!
(bad pun avoided)
