I have programmed quite a bit of Java and I am wondering what developer's
opinions about AWT/JFC in comparision to Gtk or Qtk are from a GUI
developer's point of view.
Actually, I am thinking of starting a project to make a native-code
X-windows Toolkit which parallel's the Java AWT/JFC so that developer's in
the future will not have to learn different Toolkits.
No offence to you GTK guys, but as a developer I think it would be nice to
have a unified windowing toolkit.
Anybody see this as a worthwhile project.
