Matt Blaze, and several other distinguished persons, appeared before the
House Committee looking at the FBI's Carnivore system for hoovering email
and a copy of his written statements (with Steve Bellovin listed as
co-author), as reportedly favorably by the news folks at 'Good Morning
Silicon Valley', is available at:

The Committee meeting was carried by CSPAN-2 on cable TV (at least in my
