This may allow us to at least set 128bit keys in hex.
The memory locations used within the Airport for the 40 bit keys are
suggestive of multiple key support, with perhaps larger keys as well. The
size flag for 40bit keys is 05. Interpreting that as a byte count suggests
the size flag for 128bit keys will be 16. Stuffing that count and a key that
big into the image may be worth a try.
Of course, that doesn't solve entering the key into the Mac OS drivers for
Macs with Aiport cards. Has anyone reverse-engineered that unnecessarily
proprietary hash yet?

I don't know anything about 128bit AirPort cards. Like you, I'd love to see
some.
