Hello,
I am pleased to announce the release of M2Crypto 0.04.
M2Crypto is a Python interface to OpenSSL. This release offers the
following:
- Based on OpenSSL 0.9.5. Tested on FreeBSD, Linux and Win NT.
- Much improved SSL:
- SSL certificate-based client authentication with
callbacks in Python.
- An interface to create SSL sessions.
- More robust SSL socket implementation - raises Python
exceptions, not dumps core. (Mostly. ;-)
- S/MIME: signs, encrypts, decrypts, verifies.
- More X.509 certificate manipulation, in support of PyCA.
- Various bug fixes and minor enhancements.
Thanks to Ray Soursa <res@loudcloud.com>, Johannes Stezenbach
<yawyi@gmx.net>, Michael Ströder <michael.stroeder@inka.de> and
others for bug reports and suggestions.
