The DVD plaintiff's request to the court includes, in part,
"DVD CCA makes this Application for the issuance of a Temporary Restraining
Order ... enjoining Defendants ... from making any further use of ...
or "linking" to other web sites which disclose, distribute or "link" to,
any proprietary information ..."
Note that linking to a site that which links to a site containing their
proprietary information is included in their request. With just a little
extra effort ("links to a site which links to a site which links to a site,
which links to a site."), they might have made the entire Internet a defendent.
As Pierrot would say, "Woo Hoo!"
