Indeed. And I have to wonder what in blazes the cretins in the
House Permanent Select Committee are thinking. Cryptography is readily
available from most any other forward-thinking country. And yet we are
being told that if the U.S. suddenly allows cryptography to be exported
that the criminal element will suddenly have some sort of upper hand?
This isn't about fighting crime; it's about maintaining a lazy law
enforcement status quo.
