It'll be interesting to see if she gets the same results I did from a
similar survey. I've asked every law enforcement person I've met this same
question and gotten a uniform answer: none of them has ever encountered
encryption. When I went on in a few cases to ask if it seemed like an issue
worth worrying about, I got the answers that there are far more pressing
problems -- like just keeping up with the crooks in fire power, computer
support, ....
