Several people asked where to get the ANSI ASC X9 (financial services)
crypto specifications. A catalog of ASC X.9 specs can be obtained via
http://www.x9.org/

ASC X9 specifications are widely used throughout the banking industry.
Specs that recently moved out of committee include elliptic curves and
3DES. It seems that the newer specs are not yet available through the
online catalog. You might have to call X9 directly.

Curious about PIN's? Get the specs!
