interesting. i have it working fine under 3.1 patched to M031-015 ...

i think your problem is that your trying ( atleast from the stuff bellow
to cmkdir under /crypt ( ur cfs moint point )... i might be off but
i cant do that from any user account... try making a test dir under
a diff. path, and re-read the docs...

fyi: here are the otions i do my mount with ( yours look equiv. but... ):

from my rc.local:

if [ -x /usr/local/sbin/cfsd ]; then
  /usr/local/sbin/cfsd && \
mount_nfs -2 -c -r 2048 -w 2048 -o port=3049,intr 127.0.0.1:/null /crypt 
fi

might wanna check ur perms on /crypt... if all the above dont help...

CWD here is /crypt unles you snipped some out... thats prolly not
going to be happy land...
