Welcome to the cfs-users mailing list!

Please save this message for future reference. Thank you.

If you ever want to remove yourself from this mailing list,
send the following command in email to
<cfs-users-request@nsa.research.att.com>:

    unsubscribe

Or you can send mail to <Majordomo@nsa.research.att.com> with the following
command in the body of your email message:

    unsubscribe cfs-users

or from another account, besides cfs-mtg@bloom-picayune.mit.edu:

    unsubscribe cfs-users cfs-mtg@bloom-picayune.mit.edu

If you ever need to get in contact with the owner of the list,
(if you have trouble unsubscribing, or have questions about the
list itself) send email to <owner-cfs-users@nsa.research.att.com> .
This is the general rule for most mailing lists when you need
to contact a human.

Here's the general information for the list you've subscribed to,
in case you don't already have it:

Welcome to CFS-USERS.

This list is for the discussion of problems, bugs, bug-fixes, enhancements,
new ports and releases and other topics of interest to users and developers
of the Cryptographic File System.

Mail for the list can be sent to:
	cfs-users@research.att.com
Mail to this address is automatically sent to everyone on the list. If
traffic warrants, I may also make a digest version of the list available,
but for now it's just a standard mailing list.

This list is managed by a hacked "Majordomo" server.
Subscribe requests and unsubscribe requests should be sent in the
the body of a mail message to cfs-users-request@nsa.research.att.com, e.g:
	echo unsubscribe | mail cfs-users-request@nsa.research.att.com
(PLEASE don't send your request to the list itself. It won't have any
effect except to make you look silly). These requests sometimes have to be
processed by hand, and could take a week or so if I'm on vacation or
otherwise indisposed. Please be patient.

Administrative requests relating to CFS (including requests for the CFS
code) should be sent to:
	cfs@research.att.com

Note that the latest release of CFS is 1.4.0BETA; if you have an earlier
copy you should obtain the latest version from www.cryptography.org
or via email to me. (See the file "VERSION" to find out what version you
have.)

Have fun.
