Hi - I have a problem changing to virtual directories cattached under a
name beginning with '.'. OS is Linux 2.0.38, CFS 1.3.3, bash 2.03; CFS
mounted as follows:
/bin/mount -o port=3049,intr localhost:/null /mnt/crypt
The problem is this:
[mattm01(2:69)]$ cattach crypt .mattm01
Key:
[mattm01(2:70)]$ ls -la /mnt/crypt
ls: /mnt/crypt/.ANON_2: No such file or directory
total 2
drwxrwxrwx 4 root root 8192 Jan 25 17:51 ./
drwxr-xr-x 7 root root 1024 Jan 21 16:52 ../
[mattm01(2:71)]$ cd /mnt/crypt/.mattm01
cd: could not get current directory: getcwd: cannot access parent
directories: No such file or directory
[.(2:72)]$ pwd
bash: pwd: getcwd: cannot access parent directories: No such file or
directory
[.(2:73)]$ cd
[mattm01(2:74)]$ cdetach .mattm01
[mattm01(2:75)]$
As far as I can tell, the shell is trying to make /mnt/crypt/.ANON_2
instead of /mnt/crypt/.mattm01 the current directory. Predictably, it
fails. Is there any way around this? Grateful for any advice.
