Hi all,
I'm having trouble getting cfs running on my machine (a debian linux box).
I have installed cfs 1.3.3 according to the notes provided, however whenever
I try to use cmkdir I get a "No such file or directory error".
ie.
machine:~$ cmkdir blah
/home/j/jsmith/blah: No such file or directory
This happens as root too.
The steps I went through to run cfs were as follows:
I have the following directories:
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 1024 Aug 19 16:24 /crypt/
d--------- 2 root root 1024 Aug 19 16:24 /null/
The following is in /etc/exports:
/null localhost
I ran /usr/sbin/cfsd to start the daemon. Then I ran
mount -o port=3D3049,intr localhost:/null /crypt
to mount /crypt/
mount now reports the following mount:
localhost:/null on /crypt type nfs (rw,port=3D3049,intr,addr=3D127.0.0.1)
At this point I tried cmkdiring, with no success.
Any help would be great,
Thanks,
Chris
