Alpha Gamma Chi is currently in Section 84, Region III. However, due to
geography and other factors, the two closest schools, 1 hour and 2 hours away
respectively, are in Region 5. The closest school in the region/section we are
in is 2.5 hours away.
Also, in general we are closer geographically to the whole region of Region 5
than Region 5.
In terms of activities within the section/region, and unofficial visits, we are
closer again to Region 5 than Region 3.
The question then becomes......which Region and Section should we be in?
I think this should be given serious thought and discussion at the upcoming
Region 3 conference, as well as among the various Regional and Sectional
Directors involved.
