HOWDY Everyone...
I might need to reintroduce myself since I haven't exactly been the active
poster I once was, but I guess becomming an alumnus and being stuck out in
the styx does that to you. I have been on APO-L for 1-1/2 years now...
I have been the one who has pontificated on such subjects as Mega-chapter
operations, how to keep 100+ pledges busy with a service project a day,
breaking the news on the '92 convention change to Dallas, debating things
for my round on the "five hours I'll never forget" as a member of the fabled
CHAPTER OPERATIONS COMMITTEE at the National Convention in Boston (That's the
Brothers/humans/people toast song committee).
I am an alumnus of the Xi Delta Chapter at Texas A&M University. I have
recently been elected the Secretary of our Alumni Association, and I now live
in a place where the closest APO cahpter is 115 miles away (Please, No
suggestions for extension...I've been over the fact that there isn't a
University within 115 of where I live). Effectively APO-L is
my only link to the fraternity save my T&T that comes in the mail
every so often. As of yet my good friend and Region VII director Neil
Farmer has yet to try and put me on a sectional or regional staff, not
that I've asked because I know at some odd moment I will be asked and
as usual I will propabally do it.
Well enough of that... I'm still here, I skim the list about once a
week and I Still have some interesting stories to tell if I'm asked.

P.S. When I get it all worked I'll post the "litmus"
test used by the Chapter Ops Committe in Boston over Men, the Toast
Song, Fraternity and Brothers.
